Official Render Unveils Design of Asus ROG Phone 8 Series Prior to Launch

The highly anticipated Asus ROG Phone 8 series is set for its grand unveiling at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, scheduled for January 9. Ahead of its launch, the Taiwanese tech company has been actively building anticipation through various social media platforms. In a recent move, Asus tantalized enthusiasts by releasing an official render of the ROG Phone 8, offering a sneak peek into the handset’s design as part of a captivating blind camera test featured on its website. Notably, the render showcases a distinctive rectangular triple-camera module positioned on the rear, while the back panel exudes a striking RGB logo, a hallmark of ROG phones.

Adding to the pre-launch excitement, Asus has initiated a blind camera test on its website, designed to highlight the exceptional camera capabilities expected from the impending ROG Phone 8 series. Participants are presented with multiple sets of three photographs and prompted to select the most visually appealing image. However, it remains unspecified whether any of these captivating shots were captured using the ROG Phone 8 or its ultimate variant, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. As the test concludes, Asus extends gratitude to participants, culminating with an image display featuring two ROG Phone 8 devices, further stoking anticipation for the upcoming launch.

The render seems to have an RGB logo. Further, there is a “GLHF” text inked at the bottom left corner. The handsets also appear to have a side-mounted USB Type-C port.

Asus is offering a chance to win an ROG Phone 8 for users participating in the blind test. The company already announced that the launch of the ROG Phone 8 series will take place during CES 2024 in Las Vegas on January 9. The lineup will debut in the Chinese market on January 16 at 7:30pm local time (5:00pm IST).
