Xiaomi Hints at Impending Launch of 14 Series in India, Possibly Featuring Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Variants of Xiaomi 14 Series Offer Diverse Options for Consumers

The Xiaomi 14 series promises to offer Indian consumers a diverse range of options catering to various needs and preferences. With three distinct models – the base Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra – Xiaomi aims to cover a wide spectrum of users. Each model brings its unique set of features and specifications, ensuring that there’s something for everyone in the lineup. Whether users prioritize performance, camera capabilities, or innovative technologies, the Xiaomi 14 series aims to deliver.

The base Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models have already made waves in the Chinese market since their launch in October 2023. Now, with the global unveiling of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra just days before the Mobile World Congress 2024, Xiaomi is poised to introduce its flagship lineup to a wider audience.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, with its cutting-edge features and top-of-the-line specifications, is expected to be a highlight of the series. Its arrival in India marks Xiaomi’s commitment to bringing its latest innovations to one of its largest and most important markets.

Xiaomi’s teaser announcement on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked anticipation and speculation among Indian consumers eager to get their hands on the Xiaomi 14 series.

While the teaser did not explicitly mention which models would be part of the India launch, enthusiasts are hopeful that all three variants – including the flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra – will be available. With its sleek design, powerful performance, and advanced features, the Xiaomi 14 series is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian smartphone market upon its launch on March 7.

The Indian variants of the Xiaomi 14 handsets are expected to share similar specifications as the Chinese counterparts. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra may, therefore, come to the country with a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 50-megapixel quad rear camera unit, a 32-megapixel front camera sensor, a 5,300mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and an IP68 rating.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra launched in China in black, blue, and white colourways. It started at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 74,800) for the 12GB + 256GB option, while the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations were priced at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,600) and CNY 7,799 (roughly Rs. 89,800), respectively. It was also introduced in a Titanium Special Edition, listed at CNY 8,799 (roughly Rs. 1,01,300) for 16GB + 1TB.
