Realme GT 7 Dream Edition Launches: Pricing and Deals Revealed

The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is now officially available for purchase in India, following its launch in late May alongside the standard Realme GT 7 and GT 7T models. This special edition handset was created in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team, featuring a distinctive Aston Martin Racing Green finish and the iconic silver wings emblem on its rear panel. While the design stands out, the phone’s specifications remain largely the same as the base Realme GT 7, with the notable exception of offering a generous 16GB of RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of pricing, the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is listed at Rs. 49,999 for its single configuration. Customers in India can buy the phone through the Realme India website, Amazon, and authorized Realme stores. To celebrate the launch, Realme is rolling out attractive offers, including no-cost EMI plans available for up to 12 months, with monthly installments starting at Rs. 4,167. Additionally, buyers who purchase between June 13 and June 19 will receive a complimentary one-year Extra Screen Damage Protection plan.

The design of the Dream Edition draws heavily from Realme’s partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. Beyond the Racing Green color and silver wing emblem, the phone’s body incorporates aerodynamic flow lines to symbolize airflow, inspired by high-performance race cars. The handset is also packaged in a collector’s box that contains a silver wing–themed case and a SIM ejector pin styled like a race car element, adding a unique flair for fans and collectors.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition shares the same powerful hardware as the standard GT 7 model. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1264 x 2780 pixels), peak brightness reaching 6,000 nits, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, ensuring strong performance for gaming and multitasking. The combination of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage provides ample space and speed for demanding users, all wrapped up in an exclusive and stylish package.

Google Set to Discontinue Support for Android Instant Apps by Year-End

Google is planning to retire its Android Instant Apps feature by the end of 2025, according to recent reports. The company’s decision comes after noticing consistently low user engagement and adoption of the feature. Instant Apps, which allow users to access lightweight versions of apps without installing them, will cease functioning after December 2025. Alongside this shutdown, Google will also discontinue related API support and remove Instant Apps tooling from Android Studio, the integrated development environment used by developers.

The news surfaced when a developer noticed a warning message in the latest canary build of Android Studio, alerting users about the upcoming removal of Instant Apps support. The pop-up message stated that Google Play would stop supporting Instant Apps and their APIs, while Android Studio would drop tooling support in an upcoming update. A Google spokesperson later confirmed to The Verge that the shutdown is driven by limited usage and the growing preference among developers for alternative tools that better support app discovery and engagement.

Introduced in 2017, Android Instant Apps were designed to give users a quick, app-like experience without the need for full installation. These apps often serve specific purposes such as previewing a game or making a payment, similar to Apple’s App Clips. Despite their convenience, Instant Apps never gained widespread traction, leading Google to reconsider its investment in the feature and focus on tools that drive deeper user interaction with fully installed apps.

This move follows a similar phase-out of other Google products, such as the discontinuation of the Chromecast brand in favor of the Google TV Streamer set-top box last year. By reallocating resources away from underperforming features like Instant Apps, Google aims to better support developers and users through enhanced app experiences and more popular discovery methods.

Coinbase Unveils Crypto Credit Card Partnered with American Express, Featuring Bitcoin Rewards

Coinbase has officially introduced its latest product, the Coinbase One Card, a new crypto credit card developed in partnership with American Express. The card stands out with its sleek black metal design, engraved with the iconic Bitcoin Genesis Block—the very first block created by Bitcoin’s elusive founder, Satoshi Nakamoto, in 2009. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong unveiled the card in a video shared on June 13, generating excitement among crypto enthusiasts eager for new ways to earn digital assets.

The announcement came through Coinbase’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, where the company highlighted the card’s key benefit: users can earn up to four percent back in Bitcoin on every purchase. Powered by the American Express network, the Coinbase One Card is slated for release in fall 2025. This strategic partnership blends traditional finance with the growing crypto economy, providing customers with both innovative rewards and the security benefits that come with an established payment provider.

In addition to Bitcoin rewards, the card offers several other perks. Coinbase will waive trading fees on the first $500 earned in trades through the card, encouraging more crypto transactions. Holders of the USDC stablecoin can access enhanced rewards, while validators on Coinbase’s Base blockchain will benefit from increased transaction credits and staking incentives. The card also includes standard American Express benefits such as retail purchase protection, extended warranties, exclusive offers, and emergency assistance services.

However, Coinbase has clarified that not all purchases will earn Bitcoin rewards. Transactions related to gambling or betting are explicitly excluded from the rewards program. This move reflects a cautious approach to ensure responsible usage while maximizing benefits for most everyday spending. Overall, the Coinbase One Card represents a significant step in mainstreaming cryptocurrency rewards and expanding the practical use of digital assets in daily financial activities.
