Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to unveil the Redmi Turbo 5 series in China, with recent leaks pointing to an imminent launch. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, both of which are tipped to receive notable upgrades over the previous Turbo 4 models. Among the biggest changes could be the use of MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity processors.

According to information shared by Weibo tipster Panda is Bald, the Redmi Turbo 5 series will rely on MediaTek chipsets rather than Qualcomm alternatives. The standard Redmi Turbo 5 is said to feature the Dimensity 8500 SoC, while the higher-end Redmi Turbo 5 Pro could be powered by the more advanced Dimensity 9500e processor. MediaTek has not officially announced either chip so far.

Battery capacity appears to be another major highlight of the upcoming series. The Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is rumoured to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery along with 100W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the regular Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to house a slightly smaller 8,000mAh battery, though it may still offer the same 100W charging speeds.

The Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500e processors are believed to debut in early 2026, potentially making the Redmi Turbo 5 lineup among the first smartphones to adopt these chips. The Dimensity 8500, in particular, is said to be built on TSMC’s 4nm process and could deliver clock speeds of up to 3.4GHz, positioning the series for strong performance in its segment.

OPPO Find X9 series with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 to be launched in November | Tech News - Business Standard

Oppo is reportedly planning to broaden its Find X9 series with the addition of a compact flagship smartphone dubbed the Oppo Find X9s. The device has once again surfaced in leaks, hinting that the company may be gearing up for a possible launch in India sometime next year. If introduced, the Find X9s would join the existing lineup, which already includes the Oppo Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro, the latter having debuted in India in November.

Recent leaks suggest that the Oppo Find X9s could arrive around March 2026. The information comes from tipster Debayan Roy, who claims the handset may also be released in the Indian market. That said, Oppo has not officially confirmed the existence of the device, and it remains uncertain whether the brand will bring the X9s to India, especially since its predecessor did not make its way to the country.

In terms of design and size, the Oppo Find X9s is expected to be more compact than other models in the series, potentially resembling the Oppo Find X8s. The handset is tipped to sport a 6.3-inch AMOLED or OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The use of LTPS technology could allow the screen to shift between fixed refresh rates, helping balance performance and power efficiency.

Under the hood, the Oppo Find X9s is said to be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500+ chipset, placing it squarely in the flagship category. If these specifications hold true, the device could appeal to users looking for high-end performance in a relatively compact form factor, making it a notable addition to Oppo’s premium smartphone portfolio.
