Oppo has officially launched the Oppo A5 Pro 4G in Indonesia, expanding its lineup of budget-friendly smartphones. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chipset, which is essentially a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 662. Paired with 8GB of RAM, the phone is designed to offer smooth multitasking and performance for everyday use. One of its standout features is its large 5,800mAh battery, which supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging for quick power replenishment. Additionally, the device boasts impressive durability, meeting IP69, IP68, and IP66 dust and water resistance standards, along with a MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance certification. A 5G variant of the Oppo A5 Pro was previously launched in China in December 2024.
The Oppo A5 Pro 4G is available in two storage variants in Indonesia. The base model, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at IDR 30,99,000 (approximately Rs. 16,300), while the higher-end 8GB + 256GB model costs IDR 34,99,000 (around Rs. 18,400). Consumers can purchase the smartphone through the Oppo Indonesia e-store. The phone is available in three color options—Mocha Chocolate, Moss Green, and Silk Blue—offering users a variety of stylish choices.
The Oppo A5 Pro 4G features a 6.67-inch HD+ (720×1,604 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and animations. The panel offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, ensuring good visibility in bright conditions, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for added durability. The device comes with up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and files. It runs on Android 15 with Oppo’s ColorOS 15 skin on top, bringing the latest software enhancements and customization options.
With its durable build, long-lasting battery, and efficient performance, the Oppo A5 Pro 4G is positioned as a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market. Its combination of rugged design, fast charging capabilities, and decent display specifications make it an appealing choice for users seeking a reliable everyday smartphone. Whether Oppo plans to launch the device in additional markets remains to be seen, but its affordability and feature set could make it a popular option in multiple regions.
