OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ Surfaces on Geekbench; FCC Reveals New OnePlus Earbuds

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of a new handset, possibly named the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition or OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, following last year’s release of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and OnePlus Ace 5 with Snapdragon processors. While the exact name hasn’t been confirmed yet, the device recently appeared on the Geekbench database, shedding light on its key specifications. Alongside this, a new OnePlus wireless earphone model has surfaced in US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filings, and Oppo’s Enco Clip earbuds have been spotted on another certification site, indicating new audio accessories from both brands may be on the horizon.

The Geekbench listing for the unannounced OnePlus phone shows it with the model number PLC110, which is believed to be the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra. The device runs on Android 15 and features 15GB of RAM, likely marketed as 16GB. Its performance scores include 2,779 points in single-core and 8,660 points in multi-core tests. The chipset powering this device appears to be an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ with a prime core clocked at 3.73GHz, three cores at 3.30GHz, and four cores running at 2.40GHz. These specs align well with recent rumors about the new OnePlus Ace 5 lineup.

OnePlus is rumored to unveil the Ace 5 Supreme Edition along with the Ace 5 Racing Edition later this month. The previously launched OnePlus Ace 5 Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition SoC, while the standard Ace 5 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. These upcoming releases seem to continue the company’s trend of offering high-performance smartphones with competitive hardware choices, now adding MediaTek’s latest Dimensity chip into the mix for the Ace 5 Ultra.

On the audio front, Oppo’s Enco Clip earbuds have been listed on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification site, with the charging case bearing the model number ETEH1. These earbuds are expected to launch soon in China alongside the Oppo Reno 14 series. Interestingly, the FCC database also revealed a mysterious OnePlus earbud model numbered E516A, which reportedly shares the same case model number as Oppo’s Enco Clip. This suggests OnePlus may be preparing to release earbuds similar or related to Oppo’s offering, hinting at a potential crossover or shared technology between the two brands.
