Geekbench Listing Reveals iQoo Neo 9 Pro Featuring MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC Ahead of Launch

The imminent debut of the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is set for December 27 in China, coinciding with the release of the iQoo Neo 9. Over the past few weeks, both phones have been tantalizingly teased by iQoo, offering glimpses into their designs and confirming certain pivotal specifications. Alongside these official reveals, numerous leaked details about the iQoo Neo 9 series have surfaced online, heightening anticipation for their imminent launch. Notably, the Pro model has previously been speculated to hit the Indian market in the early months of the upcoming year. Adding to the excitement, the device has recently made an appearance on a benchmarking website, further amplifying the buzz surrounding its impending debut.

The upcoming iQoo Neo 9 Pro has made its way to Geekbench (via MySmartPrice) under the listing Vivo V2339A, while the base iQoo Neo 9 model was seen with the model number V2338A. The listing reveals that the iQoo Neo 9 Pro has a k6989v1_64 motherboard — this corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G720-Immortalis MC12 GPU. The listing says the phone will be equipped with 16GB of RAM. It also shows that the model will ship with Android 14 OS.

Scheduled to debut in China next week, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro will run on OriginOS 4 skin on top, while globally, the phone will arrive with the Funtouch OS 14 skin.The company had previously confirmed the processor details of both the iQoo Neo 9 series models, ahead of their arrival in China.

Anticipated to deliver a visually immersive experience, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is rumored to flaunt a sizable 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display boasting a refresh rate of 144Hz. When it comes to photography prowess, the handset is speculated to house a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor complemented by an additional 50-megapixel secondary sensor. Positioned neatly within a centred hole-punch notch atop the display, a 16-megapixel sensor is expected to handle front-facing captures.

Elevating the user experience, the Pro variant is purported to support rapid 120W wired fast charging technology and is rumored to integrate an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security measures. Confirming style choices, both the iQoo Neo 9 models are set to be available in three distinct color variants: Nautical Blue, Fighting Black, and a striking dual-tone Red and White Soul (translated from Chinese), offering users a range of visually appealing options to suit their preferences.
