Samsung Unveils Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G in India: Features 50-Megapixel Rear Cameras, Price, and Specs Revealed

Samsung introduced the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G to the Indian market this Tuesday, unveiling the latest entrants in the Galaxy A-series. These smartphones boast expansive 6.5-inch AMOLED displays and showcase triple rear camera setups, prominently featuring 50-megapixel primary cameras.

While the Galaxy A25 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC, the specific octa-core processor driving the Galaxy A15 5G remains undisclosed. Both devices feature a sleek waterdrop-style display notch accommodating the selfie camera. Additionally, notable highlights include sizable 5,000mAh batteries, support for up to 8GB of RAM, 25W charging capability, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.

Regarding pricing details, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G are set to initiate at Rs. 17,999 in India, although the company has yet to officially confirm the specific configurations and pricing tiers. Moreover, Samsung presents an enticing offer of a Rs. 3,000 discount for consumers using SBI cards for their handset purchases.

Color options for the Galaxy A25 5G comprise Blue, Blue Black, and Yellow, while the Galaxy A15 5G is available in Blue Black, Blue, and Light Blue variants, adding a touch of variety to suit different preferences.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G run on Android 13-based One UI 5. Samsung is promising up to five years of security updates and four years of OS upgrades for the new handsets.

The Galaxy A25 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The Galaxy A15 5G has a similar-sized display with 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits.

The Galaxy A25 5G is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The Galaxy A15 5G, on the other hand, has an unspecified octa-core chipset under the hood, along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

Additionally, the Galaxy A25 5G is equipped with speakers integrated with Dolby Atmos technology. Each model also features a fingerprint sensor for convenient and secure authentication.

Samsung claims that these batteries can deliver up to 21 hours of uninterrupted video playback on a single charge. In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy A25 5G measures 161.0×76.5×8.3mm and weighs 197g, while the Galaxy A15 5G measures 160.1×76.8×8.4mm and weighs 200g, showcasing compact and lightweight designs for ease of use.
