Honor 400 Series Nears Launch as 3C Certification Surfaces
Honor appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next-generation smartphones, the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro. Both devices have recently been spotted on China’s 3C (China Compulsory Certification) website, indicating that their official debut may be imminent. The listings not only confirm 5G support but also hint at the presence of fast charging capabilities, further fueling anticipation among tech enthusiasts in China.
According to the report, the standard Honor 400 model is listed under the model number DNN-AN00, while the Pro version is believed to carry the designation DNP-AN00. The 3C certification reveals that the Honor 400 may support fast wired charging up to 80W, whereas the Honor 400 Pro could push this even further to 90W. These details suggest a focus on performance and convenience for users who value rapid charging in daily use.
In terms of specifications, a known tipster shared insights on Weibo that provide a clearer picture of what to expect. The Honor 400 is rumored to come with a 6.5-inch flat OLED LTPS display offering a 1.5K resolution, and it could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Meanwhile, the Pro variant is tipped to feature a larger 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED display with the same resolution, backed by the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Camera and battery capabilities also look promising for both models. The handsets are expected to boast a 200-megapixel main sensor, while the Honor 400 Pro may also include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens for improved zoom and portrait shots. Under the hood, both phones could house a sizable 7,000mAh silicon-based battery, promising extended usage times. Additionally, the phones are said to feature a premium metal frame, indicating a refined build quality consistent with Honor’s recent flagship offerings.
