Samsung Galaxy A57 Model Number Spotted on Company Test Server
Samsung appears to be preparing the launch of the Galaxy A57, the successor to last year’s Galaxy A56. Although the company has not officially announced the new smartphone, a model number linked to the device has surfaced on a Samsung test server, effectively confirming that the handset is in development. The Galaxy A57 is expected to bring upgrades over its predecessor, including improved processing power and camera enhancements.
The upcoming Galaxy A57 is tipped to be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, marking a step up from the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56. While full specifications are not yet available, the device is expected to retain a similar 6.7-inch AMOLED display and could feature improved software and hardware optimizations to enhance overall performance. The main camera is likely to see enhancements as well, building on the 50-megapixel sensor found on the Galaxy A56.
According to a report by X (formerly Twitter) user Akhilesh Kumar (@Koram_Akhilesh), the Galaxy A57 was spotted on Samsung’s test server with the model number A576B. The “A” in the model number indicates that the device is part of the Galaxy A series, while the “B” suffix could suggest an international variant of the phone, hinting that Samsung may release multiple versions for different markets.
The appearance of the Galaxy A57 in Samsung’s internal testing database suggests that the company is actively preparing for its launch. While an official release date has not been shared, the leak points to the device being finalized for commercial release soon, and it is likely that Samsung will unveil additional specifications, features, and pricing details in the coming weeks.
