Pre-launch Glimpse: New Hands-on Video Leaks Oppo Find X7 Before January 8 Debut

Rumored Powerhouse: Oppo Find X7 Expected to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC

Ahead of their scheduled launch in China on January 8, Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra have ignited buzz with pre-reservations already underway via Oppo’s official online store. Building anticipation just before the official unveiling, the Oppo Find X7 has yet again made its way into the limelight through a recently leaked hands-on video. This footage showcases a design reminiscent of the Oppo Find X6, featuring a curved AMOLED screen housing a hole-punch cutout on the display. Notably, the Oppo Find X7 is rumored to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, amplifying expectations for its performance prowess.

The surfaced hands-on video, shared via GizmoChina, offers a detailed glimpse of the Oppo Find X7 in varying color options such as black, blue, purple, and white. While the handset is confirmed to be available in Desert Silver Moon, Smokey Purple, Starry Sky Black, and the translation of Vast Sea and Sky (from Chinese), its resemblance to the Oppo Find X6’s design language is striking. The device prominently displays a gracefully curved AMOLED screen featuring a hole-punch display.

The rear panel showcases a distinctive circular-shaped island housing three camera sensors complemented by an LED flash. Noteworthy placements include the alert slider positioned along the left spine of the Oppo Find X7, while the right spine elegantly accommodates the volume buttons, completing the anticipated design outlook of this upcoming flagship device.

Oppo announced last week that the launch of the Oppo Find X7 series will take place in China on January 8 at 2:30pm local time (12:00am IST). They are currently up for pre-reservations in the country. The Find X7 is confined to be available in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage variants.

Rumors surrounding the base model of the Oppo Find X7 suggest it will be powered by the robust MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Reports also hint at its operating system being the Android 14-based ColorOS 14. This variant is anticipated to boast a generously sized 6.78-inch 1.5K display featuring a cutting-edge BOE 8T OLED LTPO panel. This advanced display is purported to deliver a seamless visual experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. Additionally, the device is speculated to house a substantial 5,000mAh battery, complemented by a rapid 100W wired fast charging capability, ensuring swift and efficient power replenishment.
