Oppo Confirms ColorOS 16 Rollout for Find N5, Find X8, and Reno 14 Series Starting This November
Oppo has officially unveiled the global rollout schedule for ColorOS 16, its latest Android 16-based operating system, following its debut alongside the Oppo Find X9 series earlier this week. The company confirmed that several of its recent flagship and mid-range devices — including the Find X8 lineup, Find N5 foldable, and Reno 14 series — will start receiving the update beginning November 2025.
ColorOS 16 Rollout Timeline
In an announcement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Oppo detailed the release roadmap for ColorOS 16 across its global portfolio. The update, which comes pre-installed on the newly launched Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, will gradually extend to older flagship and mid-range models in the coming months.
According to Oppo, the Find N5, Find N3, and Find N3 Flip will be among the first models to receive the ColorOS 16 update next month. The company will also bring the new operating system to the Find X8 series, followed by the Reno 14 and Reno 13 series, including the recently launched Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition.
In addition, Oppo will extend ColorOS 16 to tablets, starting with the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, which is scheduled for the update later in November. Moving into December, Oppo plans to release the update for the Find N2 Flip, Reno 13F, and K13 Turbo series. The rollout will continue through Q1 2026, bringing the new OS to even more devices.
The company says that ColorOS 16 focuses on smoother animations, improved privacy tools, enhanced AI integration, and deeper customization options — marking one of its most significant software upgrades to date.
