Vivo Y500 5G Could Feature the Largest Battery on a Vivo Phone

Vivo Y500 Appears on Bluetooth SIG Platform, Signalling Expansion Beyond China

Vivo may soon introduce the Y500 to additional markets, as the smartphone has been spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification database. The appearance suggests that the company is preparing to expand availability of the handset beyond China, where it was originally launched last year.

The certification listing includes three separate model numbers — V2627, V2634, and V2635 — indicating that Vivo could be working on multiple regional or market-specific versions of the device. While the database confirms Bluetooth connectivity, it does not reveal whether the upcoming variants will support 4G or 5G networks.

Although the certification does not disclose any hardware details, the Chinese version of the Vivo Y500 offers a glimpse of what global users might expect. The smartphone debuted with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset and is positioned as a mid-range offering aimed at users seeking a balance of performance and battery life.

One of the standout features of the Vivo Y500 is its large 8,200mAh battery, paired with a 6.77-inch display. The device also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69+ ratings for dust and water resistance, making it one of the more durable options in its segment. With fresh certifications now emerging, an official announcement for international markets could be just around the corner.

Vivo T5 Debuts With 7,200mAh Battery and 50MP Main Camera

Vivo has expanded its T5 smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo T5 in select global markets. The new handset joins the existing Vivo T5 Pro 5G and Vivo T5x 5G models, offering a balance of performance, battery life, and camera capabilities in the mid-range segment. The smartphone is currently available in a single storage variant and comes in two colour options.

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6-series processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The chipset is designed to deliver reliable performance for everyday tasks, multimedia consumption, and casual gaming. Vivo has positioned the handset as a capable option for users seeking long battery life and dependable performance without stepping into the flagship category.

One of the standout features of the Vivo T5 is its massive 7,200mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging. For photography, the handset features a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. With its large battery, substantial storage capacity, and modern hardware package, the Vivo T5 aims to strengthen Vivo’s presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone market.
