The report highlights that despite the contraction in the global smartphone industry, market dynamics remained competitive, with brands adjusting their production and pricing strategies. Geopolitical tensions in regions such as the Middle East also contributed to reduced consumer confidence, leading to slower discretionary spending on new smartphones. While some regional markets showed stability, the broader global sentiment remained subdued throughout the quarter.

In terms of market performance, Apple secured the top position with a 21 percent share, marking a 5 percent year-over-year increase. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and backed by a large 6,500mAh battery, the smartphone is positioned as a strong contender in the premium segment. While Vivo has yet to officially confirm its India launch, recent leaks suggest that preparations for its arrival are already underway.

According to a new leak, the Vivo X300 FE may launch in India during the first week of May. The device is tipped to be offered in three colour options — black, green, and purple. Notably, the leak hints at a new green shade that could be exclusive to the Indian market, adding a fresh visual option compared to its global counterparts.

For reference, the global version of the Vivo X300 FE is currently available in Cool Purple, Graphite Black, and Moonlight White colourways.
