Vivo X500 Pro Leak Suggests Dimensity 9600 Chip and Upgraded Cameras

Vivo X500 series could split performance with Dimensity 9600 and 9600 Pro - Gizmochina

Vivo is said to be working on a new compact flagship smartphone that could debut later this year as part of its next-generation X-series lineup. Recent leaks suggest the device may arrive as either the Vivo X500 Pro or Vivo X500 Pro Mini, succeeding the current Vivo X300 series. The upcoming handset is expected to focus heavily on camera performance while also delivering flagship-grade hardware in a smaller form factor.

According to details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Vivo is reportedly testing a new Pro-series smartphone powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 chipset. The processor is said to be built on an advanced 2nm architecture, which could bring notable gains in efficiency and overall performance compared to previous generations.

The leak further reveals that the smartphone may feature a triple rear camera setup designed for premium photography. The primary camera is tipped to use a 50-megapixel sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch size and LOFIC technology, which is expected to improve image quality and dynamic range. Alongside it, the phone could include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera for wider shots and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering around 3x optical zoom.

Although Vivo has not officially confirmed the device, the leaked specifications indicate the company may continue its focus on combining compact flagship designs with high-end imaging capabilities. More details regarding the Vivo X500 Pro lineup are expected to surface closer to its anticipated launch later this year.

Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE Teased for India Launch: Design and Specs Preview

The upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra, which was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Spain and later launched in China alongside the Vivo X300s, is now confirmed to be arriving in India soon. The device will be introduced alongside the Vivo X300 FE, marking the expansion of the X300 series into the Indian market.

The company has already started teasing both smartphones through official microsites on its Indian website, confirming that the launch is imminent. In addition, a dedicated listing has also gone live on Flipkart, indicating that the devices will be available through the popular e-commerce platform once they are officially released.

Design-wise, the Vivo X300 Ultra retains the same look as its Chinese variant, featuring a circular rear camera module and a premium flagship aesthetic. One of its standout features is support for an external telephoto converter kit, designed to enhance zoom photography capabilities beyond standard smartphone limits.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 FE adopts a slightly different design approach, featuring a horizontal pill-shaped camera island on the back. Both models are expected to include Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera systems, emphasizing advanced mobile photography as a key selling point for the series.

The FE variant is also expected to launch in at least a green colour option in India. With both devices sharing a strong focus on camera performance and design refinement, Vivo appears to be positioning the X300 lineup as a major contender in the premium smartphone segment in the country.

Vivo Y600 Pro Set for Launch With Massive 10,000mAh Battery Upgrade

The upcoming Vivo Y600 Pro has been officially teased by the company, confirming that the device will be launching soon in China as the successor to last year’s Vivo Y500 Pro. Alongside the announcement, Vivo has begun revealing key design elements and specifications, giving users an early look at what to expect from the new model.

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y600 Pro is its massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is typically found in most smartphones. This suggests a strong focus on extended usage and endurance, making the device particularly appealing for users who prioritize long battery life over frequent charging.

In terms of design, the handset continues the visual identity of its predecessor by featuring a round rear camera module. The device has been shown in a purple colour variant with a gold-accented camera ring, along with a flat rear panel and a minimalist LED flash positioned in the top-left corner. The flat frame design further adds to its modern and clean aesthetic.

The phone is expected to include a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an Aspheric “premium” lens. However, this marks a downgrade compared to the previous generation’s higher-resolution 200-megapixel main camera. Despite this change, Vivo appears to be balancing the hardware by focusing more on efficiency and battery performance.

Overall, the Vivo Y600 Pro is shaping up to be a battery-focused smartphone with a refreshed design and simplified camera system. With its official launch approaching, more details are expected to emerge soon as Vivo prepares to expand its mid-range lineup.
