The upcoming Vivo Y600 Pro has been officially teased by the company, confirming that the device will be launching soon in China as the successor to last year’s Vivo Y500 Pro. Alongside the announcement, Vivo has begun revealing key design elements and specifications, giving users an early look at what to expect from the new model.
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y600 Pro is its massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is typically found in most smartphones. This suggests a strong focus on extended usage and endurance, making the device particularly appealing for users who prioritize long battery life over frequent charging.
In terms of design, the handset continues the visual identity of its predecessor by featuring a round rear camera module. The device has been shown in a purple colour variant with a gold-accented camera ring, along with a flat rear panel and a minimalist LED flash positioned in the top-left corner. The flat frame design further adds to its modern and clean aesthetic.
The phone is expected to include a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an Aspheric “premium” lens. However, this marks a downgrade compared to the previous generation’s higher-resolution 200-megapixel main camera. Despite this change, Vivo appears to be balancing the hardware by focusing more on efficiency and battery performance.
Overall, the Vivo Y600 Pro is shaping up to be a battery-focused smartphone with a refreshed design and simplified camera system. With its official launch approaching, more details are expected to emerge soon as Vivo prepares to expand its mid-range lineup.
