Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis Knighted in UK for Contributions to Artificial Intelligence
Demis Hassabis, born in London in 1976, displayed prodigious talents across various disciplines from a young age. Achieving master status in chess during his teenage years, he went on to work as a lead programmer at Bullfrog Productions, a renowned U.K. video game developer. Hassabis later graduated with first-class honors in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and pursued roles in AI and computer science before obtaining a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from University College London (UCL).
