Oppo Reno 15 Series India Launch Confirmed: Price, Features Tipped

Oppo is set to introduce three models in India: Reno 15 5G, Reno 15 Pro 5G, and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G.

Oppo has officially confirmed that it will bring its next-generation Reno 15 lineup to India, further expanding its mid-premium smartphone portfolio. The series will consist of three models — Reno 15 5G, Reno 15 Pro 5G, and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G — and will place a strong emphasis on camera innovation, particularly portrait photography and video capture. Oppo says the devices will debut with upgraded camera hardware and new AI-powered imaging features, while pricing details will be shared closer to launch.

The company has announced that the Oppo Reno 15 series will be unveiled in India on January 8. All three smartphones will be introduced simultaneously, marking the first time Oppo has launched a “Pro Mini” variant in the Reno lineup. The brand has highlighted improvements in computational photography, promising better image processing across various lighting conditions.

Both the Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G are confirmed to feature a high-resolution 200-megapixel primary rear camera. They will also include a 50-megapixel telephoto portrait lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, alongside a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view. This camera setup is designed to enhance portrait shots, group photos, and long-range imaging.

In addition to hardware upgrades, Oppo is introducing new AI-based features aimed at improving tone balance and colour accuracy depending on the shooting environment. The phones will also support advanced group photo optimisation and enhanced video recording tools. While Oppo has yet to confirm pricing or sale dates, these details are expected to be revealed during the official launch event.
