Vivo’s upcoming X500 series continues to surface in leaks ahead of its expected debut later this year. While the company has yet to confirm any official details, recent rumours suggest the next-generation flagship lineup will bring notable upgrades over the Vivo X300 series. The latest information points to improvements in performance, battery capacity, and camera hardware.

According to a new post by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Vivo is currently testing a compact flagship powered by MediaTek’s next-generation 2nm Dimensity chipset. Although the tipster did not reveal the exact model name, the device is widely believed to be either the Vivo X500 Pro or the Vivo X500 Pro Mini. The chipset itself was not identified, but it is expected to be the rumored Dimensity 9600 Pro.

The leak also suggests the smartphone could pack a large 7,000mAh battery, a significant upgrade for a compact flagship. If accurate, the combination of a 2nm processor and a high-capacity battery could deliver better power efficiency and longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
