Poco Tablet Surfaces on European Certification Site, Hinting at Imminent Launch: Report

Poco Tablet Reportedly Listed with Model Number 2405CPCFBG

Poco appears to be expanding its product lineup with a potential entry into the tablet market, marking a new venture for the brand. Recent reports indicate the sighting of a tablet bearing Poco branding on a certification website, though no specific name has been associated with the device yet. Speculation suggests that this tablet could possibly be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi or Xiaomi tablet, considering Poco’s association with Xiaomi. This development comes on the heels of Poco’s recent launch of the Poco X6 Neo 5G in India, showcasing the brand’s continued efforts to diversify its offerings.

The tablet in question, identified by the model number 2405CPCFBG, made an appearance on Europe’s EEC certification site. The listing, accompanied by notification number KZ0000007722, indicates that the certification will remain valid until December 3, 2029. However, beyond this listing, little information is available regarding the specifications or features of the purported Poco tablet. The lack of details leaves room for speculation about its potential positioning and target market.

Should Poco indeed release this tablet, it would mark the brand’s inaugural entry into the tablet segment. As with some of its smartphones, there’s speculation that this tablet might be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi or Xiaomi tablet, leveraging the parent company’s resources and product portfolio. This alignment with existing Xiaomi products could offer consumers a familiar yet distinct option within the tablet market, capitalizing on Poco’s brand identity and Xiaomi’s established reputation in the tech industry.

Poco could be working on a new device, which will be a first for the company. According to a report, a tablet was spotted online on a certification website carrying Poco branding. While the tablet did not have any moniker, it is expected to be a rebranded Redmi or Xiaomi tablet. The company recently introduced the Poco X6 Neo 5G in India. The phone launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 33W wired fast charging.
