The Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G has been the subject of multiple leaks in recent weeks, with reports suggesting a January launch in India. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the exact launch date yet, earlier rumours pointed to a January 27 debut.

However, a fresh tip now indicates a slight change in the company’s plans. According to noted tipster Yogesh Brar, the India launch of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G has reportedly been delayed by a couple of days. The smartphones are now expected to be unveiled on January 29, instead of the previously anticipated date. Although Xiaomi has teased the arrival of the series, availability and sale details are still being kept under wraps.

Leaks have also revealed the RAM and storage variants for the Indian market. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is tipped to launch in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configurations. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is expected to be offered in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, targeting users seeking balanced performance at competitive price points.

In terms of pricing, reports suggest that the Redmi Note 15 Pro models will be priced very close to the Redmi Note 14 series. For reference, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G launched in India at Rs. 29,999, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G started at Rs. 23,999. As for specifications, recent leaks indicate that the display, chipset, battery, and connectivity features of the Indian variants will closely match their global counterparts, which were introduced in December 2025.
