Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus launching in August - Gadgetbyte

Following the recent India launch of the Redmi Note 15 5G, Xiaomi appears to be gearing up to introduce the more powerful Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G in the country. The handset has now surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, suggesting that internal testing is underway and that an official announcement could be approaching. The appearance of the device on the platform offers early insight into its hardware configuration and expected performance.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G has already made its global debut and is currently available in select international markets. Xiaomi unveiled the smartphone in December 2025 alongside the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and the standard Redmi Note 15 5G. The Pro variant is positioned as a step up in terms of performance and features, and it is expected to retain its large 6,580mAh battery for the Indian market as well.

According to reports, an unspecified Xiaomi smartphone bearing the model number 25080RABDI has been listed on Geekbench. Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims this model corresponds to the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. The listing indicates that the device runs on Android 15 and includes 8GB of RAM. It is powered by an octa-core chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz, featuring a mix of performance and efficiency cores.

The Indian version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU and Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. On Geekbench, the device reportedly achieved 1,051 points in single-core and 2,938 points in multi-core tests. While Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm the India launch, the benchmark listing, combined with the phone’s existing global availability and strong hardware specifications, suggests that its arrival in the country may be imminent.
