The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G was introduced in India last week as a special edition variant of the standard Note 15 5G, and it has now officially gone on sale in the country. With this release, the company is aiming to attract buyers looking for a balanced mix of style, performance, and battery life in the mid-range segment. The device is available in multiple configurations and finishes, giving users a range of choices based on their preferences.
In terms of design, the smartphone comes in three colour options, including a standout Crimson Reserve variant that features a premium vegan leather back. Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at just 7.82mm thickness, making it comfortable to hold and use. This combination of aesthetics and practicality adds to its overall appeal.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is powered by a 4nm-based octa-core Snapdragon 6 series processor, coupled with an Adreno GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks. The device is equipped with a substantial 5,800mAh battery, which is expected to deliver long-lasting performance on a single charge. For photography, it sports a 50-megapixel primary rear camera designed to capture detailed and vibrant images.
As for pricing, the handset starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options are priced at Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 27,999, respectively. However, as part of an introductory offer, the phone is currently available at reduced prices starting from Rs. 19,999. Buyers can also benefit from an instant Rs. 2,000 discount using ICICI Bank cards, along with EMI options of up to six months, making the deal more attractive.
