Huawei has officially launched its latest fitness tracker, the Huawei Band 10, in select global markets. This new addition to the company’s wearable lineup brings a host of impressive features aimed at fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious users. The Band 10 is equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and a SpO2 sensor for measuring blood oxygen saturation levels, allowing users to keep track of their health metrics in real-time. The device also introduces a new sleep-heart rate variability (HRV) metric, providing deeper insights into the wearer’s sleep quality. With up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge, the Huawei Band 10 is designed to be a reliable companion for those with an active lifestyle.
While Huawei has yet to announce pricing and availability details for the Band 10, the wearable is already listed on the company’s website. It is available in a range of colors, including Black, Blue, Green, Matte Black, Purple, Pink, and White. The Black and Pink variants are made with polymer cases, while the rest feature a more premium aluminium alloy construction. This variety allows users to choose a color that fits their style, while the design ensures durability and comfort throughout daily use.
The Huawei Band 10 comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, offering a resolution of 194×368 pixels and a pixel density of 282ppi. The screen supports both swipe and touch gestures for easy navigation, complemented by a side button for additional control. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the 100 workout modes available, catering to a wide range of activities, from running to cycling and more. Additionally, the Band 10 is water-resistant to a depth of 50 meters (5ATM), making it suitable for swimming and other water-related activities. It also includes advanced sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, alongside the heart rate and SpO2 sensors.
Beyond fitness tracking, the Huawei Band 10 also focuses on overall well-being. The device offers updated sleep tracking features, including the new sleep HRV metric, which analyzes sleep patterns, duration, and quality. The wearable also includes a stress monitoring feature, menstrual cycle tracking, and a PPG sensor that alerts users to potential signs of atrial fibrillation or irregular heartbeats. Users can receive app notifications, incoming call and message alerts, and weather updates directly on the Band 10. Additionally, it features a remote shutter for controlling your phone’s camera and a Find Phone feature to help locate a misplaced phone. Compatible with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later, the Huawei Band 10 offers a comprehensive package for those looking to enhance their fitness and health monitoring experience.
