Motorola Razr 50 Rumored to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC

Motorola is reportedly developing the foldable Razr 50 duo, consisting of the Motorola Razr 50 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. These devices have been circulating in the rumor mill over the past few weeks. Recently, a tipster has hinted at the US pricing for the base model, the Motorola Razr 50. This phone is expected to launch in select markets under the name Motorola Razr 2024. It’s likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and feature a 3.63-inch cover display.

Renowned tipster Arsene Lupin (@MysteryLupin) on X has suggested that the Razr 50 will be priced at $699 (roughly Rs. 58,000) in the US. Interestingly, this matches the launch price of the Motorola Razr (2023), which was introduced in the US in October of the previous year.

In contrast, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has also surfaced online with a rumored price tag of $999 (roughly Rs. 83,000) for the variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This higher-end model is expected to offer more advanced features and specifications compared to the base model.

The Razr 50 series is anticipated to bring significant improvements over its predecessors, focusing on enhanced performance and user experience. Motorola aims to capture the growing foldable smartphone market with these new releases, offering competitive pricing and cutting-edge technology.

While official announcements are still pending, the leaked information has already generated considerable excitement among tech enthusiasts and potential buyers. The foldable smartphone segment continues to evolve rapidly, and Motorola’s new entries are poised to make a significant impact.

The handset has a dual rear camera unit led by 64-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a 4,200mAh battery unit with support for 30W wired and 8W wireless charging.
