Additionally, the recharge plan incorporates the provision of 100 SMS messages per day. Notably, Vi’s competitors in the telecommunications sphere, namely Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, also offer analogous annual prepaid recharge plans within this competitive landscape.
As per Vi’s website, the new Rs. 3,199 annual recharge plan offers access to a total of 730GB of data along with one year of Amazon Prime Video Mobile. The plan is valid for 365 days and it offers unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS messages on a daily basis. The plan offers 2GB of data per day, according to the telecom operator.
The new plan also provides unlimited free data between 12:00am and 6am. With the weekend data rollover feature, prepaid customers can carry forward their unused data during the week to weekends.
With the latest recharge plan, Vi extends access to Vi Movies and TV subscriptions, enriching users with an expansive library housing more than 5,000 movies and shows. Additionally, subscribers gain entry to a wide array of over 200 TV channels, encompassing popular networks such as Aaj Tak, ABP, Discovery, and numerous others. This offering amplifies the entertainment spectrum for Vi users, presenting a diverse range of content options within a single subscription.
In the realm of annual prepaid plans bundled with OTT subscriptions, Vi’s competitors Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel present compelling alternatives. Jio’s annual recharge plan, priced at Rs. 4,498, stands out by providing access to a diverse array of streaming platforms. Notably, subscribers gain entry to Prime Video Mobile, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLiv, and Zee5, enhancing their entertainment choices across various content genres. On the other hand, Airtel offers a year-long plan priced at Rs. 3,359, complemented by a complimentary one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile and Wynk Music. These offerings illustrate the fierce competition among telecom giants, each vying to provide comprehensive and enticing packages to their customer base.
