The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may witness a dual unveiling, with reports suggesting that the South Korean tech giant is contemplating the release of a more affordable variant alongside the standard book-style foldable phone. This strategic move by Samsung aims to introduce two larger folding handsets and a clamshell-style foldable device to the market. The introduction of a budget-friendly Galaxy Z Fold 6 model is seen as a competitive response, particularly in the Chinese market.

According to a report from The Elec (in Korean), citing industry sources, Samsung is exploring the development of an entry-level model for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, intending to launch it alongside the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 arrived with mostly iterative features over its predecessor, and this year’s model is expected to feature changes to the inner display’s aspect ratio that will reportedly have an impact on the outer display.
