Founder Eric Migicovsky revealed in a blog post that the new version of Beeper has been rebuilt from the ground up, emphasizing improved performance and responsiveness. The app now caches chats locally on the user’s device, ensuring quicker access to conversations and enabling seamless message retrieval, even when offline.
Furthermore, users gain the ability to search through their entire message history, facilitating efficient navigation and retrieval of important information. While users can still access the older Beeper Cloud app, the previous Beeper Mini app, which provided direct access to iMessage on Android, has been discontinued following Apple’s intervention earlier this year.
