Following the Chinese launch, industry insiders suggest that Oppo could bring the K15 Pro series to India later this year.

According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) on X, the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ are expected to launch in India during the third quarter of 2026. Reports indicate that the Indian variants will retain the same specifications and features as the Chinese models. While these details remain unconfirmed by Oppo, they provide an early look at what potential buyers in India can anticipate. The claim comes shortly after the phones were priced in China at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 41,000) for the K15 Pro and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 47,000) for the K15 Pro+.

In terms of display technology, the Oppo K15 Pro+ boasts a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, 450ppi pixel density, and a 330Hz touch sampling rate, delivering a smooth and responsive experience. The display supports 1.07 billion colours and can reach up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, making it suitable for high-contrast content and gaming. Meanwhile, the Oppo K15 Pro features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch Full-HD+ screen, 144Hz refresh rate, 460ppi pixel density, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Both models run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The colour options for the Indian launch are expected to mirror the Chinese variants, with the K15 Pro+ available in Cyber Wings, Origin Grey, and Photodust shades, while the K15 Pro comes in Cyber Wing, Golden Legend, Origin Grey, and Radiant Dust. With high refresh rate displays, premium design, and active cooling features, the Oppo K15 Pro series is positioned as a compelling option for users looking for a balanced mix of performance, display quality, and gaming-friendly features in the Indian market.

The leak suggests that the Galaxy S26 FE will be powered by a proprietary Exynos processor and run on Android 17, offering users the latest software experience alongside mid-range hardware optimization.

The purported Galaxy S26 FE has appeared on Geekbench under the model number SM-S741U, as highlighted by tipster Abhishek Yadav. This model number aligns with earlier rumours about the unannounced device, confirming its existence. According to the benchmark data, the phone is equipped with an octa-core chipset built on the ARMv8 architecture, which balances performance and efficiency for everyday use as well as more demanding applications.

The SoC configuration appears to feature a four-cluster design. Cluster 1 consists of two cores clocked at 1.80GHz, while Cluster 2 has five cores running at 2.36GHz. Cluster 3 includes two cores capped at 2.75GHz, and Cluster 4 has a single high-performance core operating at 3.30GHz. This setup suggests that Samsung is aiming to provide a mix of energy-efficient and high-performance cores for a smooth and responsive user experience.

While the Geekbench listing confirms the presence of the Exynos 2500 chip and Android 17, other specifications such as display size, camera setup, battery capacity, and pricing remain unknown. While expectations had been high for upgraded displays, a recent report suggests that the company may continue using the same OLED panels as previous models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 could come with the Exynos 2600 processor.

According to ET News, citing unnamed industry sources, Samsung will stick with its M13 OLED material for all three upcoming foldable models. The panels, supplied by Samsung Display, are said to be the same as those used in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 released in 2024. If accurate, this would mark the third consecutive year that Samsung has used the M13 technology for its foldable lineup, suggesting a conservative approach to display upgrades in the Galaxy Z series.

Samsung first introduced M13 OLED panels with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6, and the material has since been applied to all foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Meanwhile, the company has reserved its newer and brighter M14 OLED panels for non-folding flagship models, such as the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Even the standard Galaxy S26 and S26+ models still feature M13 displays, highlighting a clear distinction between Samsung’s foldable and standard smartphone displays.

This decision may reflect the technical challenges of integrating newer OLED materials into foldable devices, which require durability and flexibility. While Samsung fans had hoped for a brighter or higher-performing display in the next foldable generation, the use of M13 panels suggests the company is prioritizing reliability over incremental improvements. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 series are expected to launch later this year, with more detailed specifications likely to emerge closer to the official unveiling.
