Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL Renders Surface Online, Revealing Pink and Porcelain Color Options

Google Pixel 9 Series Features Revamped Rear Camera Island Design

Google is preparing for its next major hardware event, the Made by Google launch, scheduled for August 13. Anticipation is building around the company’s upcoming Pixel 9 series, which includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. While Google has already given a glimpse of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, new leaks have emerged providing further details about the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Recent leaks have unveiled images of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL, offering a closer look at their designs. According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the renders show the Pixel 9 in a distinctive pink color, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL is depicted in a classic porcelain finish. These new visuals surfaced shortly after Google’s official showcase of its higher-end models, adding to the excitement around the upcoming releases.

The leaked renders reveal a significant design overhaul for the Pixel 9 series. Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL feature a design with flattened sides and rounded corners, a departure from previous Pixel designs. The camera island on the back is now oval-shaped and centrally located, moving away from the wide solid bar seen on the Pixel 8 series. This new design choice highlights a shift in Google’s approach to its flagship phone aesthetics.

The rear panels of both models have a glossy finish, which contrasts with the matte finish of the camera bar. This design adjustment not only enhances the visual appeal but also suggests a focus on improving the tactile experience of the devices. The matte camera bar could potentially help in reducing glare and giving the camera module a more premium look.

While the specific features and specifications of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL remain under wraps, these leaked images give us an early look at the new design direction. The move to a more centralized and simplified camera island could indicate advancements in camera technology and a refined focus on the overall user experience.

As we approach the August 13 event, more details are expected to emerge, providing a clearer picture of what the Pixel 9 series will offer. For now, these leaks offer a tantalizing preview of the design and color options, building anticipation for Google’s next flagship smartphones.
