HMD has officially launched the Barbie Phone in select global markets, marking a nostalgic return to the classic flip phone design with a vibrant Barbie aesthetic. The handset features an all-pink exterior, including a pink battery and charger, which complements its playful design. The phone’s packaging is equally charming, arriving in a jewelry box that includes the phone, beaded lanyards with charms, two extra back covers, and a selection of stickers and gems. This unique presentation aligns perfectly with the Barbie theme, making it as much a collectible item as a functional device.

In terms of pricing and availability, the HMD Barbie Phone is set to retail for $129 in the US, approximately Rs. 10,800. It will be available for purchase starting October 1, with pre-orders opening on September 23 through the HMD US website. The phone will be offered in a single Power Pink colorway, with both the battery and the included USB Type-C charger matching the phone’s vibrant hue. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding its release in India.

The HMD Barbie Phone is equipped with a 2.8-inch QVGA main display and a smaller 1.77-inch QQVGA cover screen. Notably, the outer display also doubles as a mirror, adding to the phone’s unique design features. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Unisoc T107 SoC, coupled with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a MicroSD card. It runs on the S30+ OS, which includes a Barbie-themed user interface, further enhancing its appeal to fans of the iconic doll.
