Honor Magic 6 Pro Receives IMDA Certification, Suggesting Impending Global Expansion

Honor Magic 6 Series Set for Global Debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona

Ahead of its global debut, the Honor Magic 6 series, comprising the standard Honor Magic 6 and the more advanced Honor Magic 6 Pro, is making significant strides. Recently, the Honor Magic 6 Pro secured certification from Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), hinting at a broader international launch beyond its initial unveiling in China.

The series, initially introduced in China on January 11, is poised to reach markets outside of Europe and the UK. Notably, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is powered by the Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 skin.

According to a report by GizmoChina, the IMDA certification listing featured a smartphone with the model number BVL-N49, corresponding to the Honor Magic 6 Pro. While the listing provided little detail about the global variant, earlier reports from Dealabs shed light on its pricing for European and UK markets. In Europe, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is expected to retail at EUR 1,299.90 (approximately Rs. 1,15,900), while in the UK, it is slated to be priced at GBP 1,099.99 (around Rs. 1,14,600).
