Honor Magic 6 Series Design Leaked: Color Variants and Storage Choices Unveiled Pre-Launch

Honor Magic 6 Series Set to Debut Alongside Honor MagicOS 8 at Launch Event

The forthcoming Honor Magic 6 series is poised to make its debut in China shortly. Anticipated as part of the lineup are the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro models, both set to be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Succeeding the previously unveiled Honor Magic 5 series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, renderings of the devices have been circulating online, but the company has now officially confirmed the series’ design. Furthermore, details regarding the color variations and storage options for the Honor Magic 6 have surfaced online.

On Weibo, Honor CEO Zhao Ming unveiled the design of one of the Honor Magic 6 variants. The phone exhibits a vibrant green hue, featuring a prominent triple-camera system housed within a centrally-positioned circular camera module on the rear panel. Notably, the camera module showcases angular yet rounded edges, while the right side of the phone reveals the presence of the volume rocker and the power button.

 

 

The Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro are already listed on the Honor China website. The base model is listed to be available in 256GB and 512GB storage options, while the Pro model will launch with an additional higher-end 1TB variant. Both models are confirmed to be offered in black, cyan, green, purple, and white colour options. The company is yet to reveal the RAM options and prices of the smartphones.

During the upcoming launch event between January 10 and January 11, Honor is set to unveil not only the anticipated Honor Magic 6 series but also the debut of the MagicOS 8. The event will also feature the introduction of the Honor Porsche Design variant, previously confirmed to integrate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Anticipated within the Honor Magic 6 series are models likely to feature an advanced 160-megapixel periscope zoom camera, housing OV50K primary sensors equipped with LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology. These models are also rumored to incorporate optical image stabilization (OIS) functionality and wireless charging capabilities. Additionally, expectations are high for the base model of the Honor Magic 6 to acquire an IP68 rating, ensuring durability against dust and water exposure.
