Intel Unveils New AI PC Developer and Hardware Vendor Initiatives

Intel’s Latest Initiatives Expand on AI PC Acceleration Program

In a move to bolster its AI PC Acceleration Program, Intel has announced the introduction of two new initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration between independent hardware and software vendors and the company’s resources. Launched in October 2023, the AI PC Acceleration Program serves as a platform to facilitate innovation and drive advancements in AI technology within the PC ecosystem. The newly unveiled initiatives, namely the AI PC Developer Program for software developers and a dedicated initiative for independent hardware vendors, represent Intel’s commitment to empowering developers and vendors with the tools and resources needed to thrive in the era of AI-driven computing.

The AI PC Developer Program, a cornerstone of Intel’s latest initiative, is designed to provide software developers with enhanced access to Intel’s ecosystem, enabling them to deepen their understanding of AI technologies and refine their proficiency in developing tools tailored for AI PCs. By engaging with a diverse range of developers, including small- and medium-sized players and aspiring developers, Intel aims to foster a collaborative environment conducive to innovation and knowledge-sharing.

Carla Rodriguez, Vice President and General Manager of Client Software Ecosystem Enabling at Intel, emphasized the company’s dedication to driving a frictionless experience for developers through the AI PC Developer Program. In a statement, Rodriguez highlighted the program’s objective of expanding outreach beyond large ISVs to encompass a broader spectrum of developers, ensuring that developers of all sizes have access to the resources and support needed to succeed in the AI landscape.

The expansion of Intel’s AI PC Acceleration Program underscores the company’s commitment to facilitating the seamless adoption of new AI technologies on a global scale. Through access to a comprehensive suite of tools, workflows, AI deployment frameworks, and developer kits featuring the Intel Core Ultra processor, both software developers and vendors will be equipped to harness the full potential of AI-driven computing. By providing developers with the necessary resources and support, Intel aims to accelerate the development and deployment of AI-enabled solutions, driving innovation and unlocking new possibilities within the PC ecosystem.
