Jio’s New Year 2024 Offer Introduces Prepaid Recharge Plan with Additional Validity Benefits: All You Need to Know
Jio recently unveiled its “Happy New Year Offer 2024” exclusively designed for prepaid users in India. As part of this offer, the telecom giant has revitalized one of its earlier annual prepaid plans. The revamped New Year offer introduces an additional 24 days of validity to the existing 365-day validity of the Rs. 2,999 plan. While the plan’s benefits remain consistent, the prolonged validity effectively reduces the per-day cost for subscribers.
According to the Terms and Conditions outlined on Jio’s website, the Rs. 2,999 long-term prepaid recharge plan will now include a 24-day validity voucher. This extension allows the plan to stretch beyond its standard 365-day duration, granting users a total of 389 days of uninterrupted service. Interested users can avail this plan through Jio’s prepaid plan webpage or the MyJio application.
Throughout these supplementary 24 days, subscribers will continue to enjoy the same benefits provided during the rest of the plan’s duration. However, the daily cost for users will effectively decrease from Rs. 8.21 per day to Rs. 7.70 per day. Over the 389-day period, users will have access to a daily 2.5GB 4G data allocation, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and value-added services.
By opting for the Rs. 2,999 prepaid plan, customers can relish an array of benefits tailored for their connectivity needs. The plan encompasses unlimited voice calls and a daily allowance of 100 complimentary SMS. Furthermore, it grants users unlimited 5G data, although the availability of 5G services may vary depending on the region’s coverage.
Aside from robust connectivity features, this prepaid package offers access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud services. It’s important to note that the JioCinema subscription bundled with this plan doesn’t include the JioCinema Premium subscription. To access JioCinema Premium features, users must independently purchase it for Rs. 1,499 through the JioCinema portal. Alternatively, the JioTV Premium subscription provides access to a multitude of 14 diverse OTT apps, streamlining entertainment options under a single plan.
