Leak Reveals Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Camera and Display Features, Possibly Outshining iPhone 15 Pro Max

Flagship Performance: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to Power Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to debut alongside the Galaxy S24 and S24+ on January 17, 2024, following the release of the Galaxy S23 Ultra earlier in February. Recent leaks and certifications have unveiled design renders and other key details of the Galaxy S24 series. Notably, tipster Ahmed Qwaider (@AhmedQwaider888) disclosed specific display and camera specifications related to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

According to Qwaider’s revelations on X, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s alleged quad-camera setup could include a substantial 200-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 12-megapixel sensor featuring an ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel sensor with a 5x telephoto lens, and a 10-megapixel sensor equipped with a 10x telephoto lens.

Additionally, Qwaider suggests that the rear camera system may support 8K video recording and incorporate optical image stabilisation (OIS). Furthermore, both the front and rear cameras are purportedly enhanced by an AI-powered object-aware engine.

According to recent revelations from the same tipster, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to boast a remarkable peak brightness of 2,600 nits for its display panel. This notably exceeds the peak brightness of its competitor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which reportedly stands at 2,000 nits. The prior Galaxy S23 Ultra, for comparison, claimed a peak brightness of 1,750 nits.

Other leaks have suggested that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with RAM options of up to 12GB and storage configurations of up to 1TB. The device is expected to sport a 6.8-inch QHD+ display complemented by a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it might feature a 12-megapixel front camera and house a robust 5,000mAh battery.
