Global Unveiling Set: Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 Primed for December 14 Debut
The recently launched Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 boasting the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC made their debut in China last month, flaunting impressive features. Both models are now primed for a global release on December 14.
Recent online reports hint at an early next year launch for the Vivo X100 series in India. These upcoming Indian variants of the Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 are anticipated to offer enhanced capabilities in capturing the intricate details and natural brilliance of sunlight during sunrise and sunset. The Chinese variants of these smartphones operate on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4, showcasing curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays with refresh rates of up to 120Hz and house Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setups.
As per a recent report by 91Mobiles citing industry insiders, the Vivo X100 series is anticipated to make its entry into the Indian market sometime in January of the upcoming year. Expectedly, the Indian iterations will introduce an exclusive photography feature aimed at capturing the luminance and richness of the sun’s rays during specific times of the day.
Although the Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 currently remain exclusive to China, their global unveiling is slated for December 14. In terms of pricing, these smartphones were initially introduced in China with starting price points of CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 56,500) for the X100 Pro and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 50,000) for the X100 variant.
As mentioned, the Vivo X100 series runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4 and features curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, coupled with Vivo’s V3 chip.
The Vivo X100 series packs Zeiss-branded triple rear camera units. The regular Vivo X100 houses a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging while the VIvo X100 Pro houses a 5,400mAh unit with 100W charging and a 50W wireless charging rate.
