Recent leaks suggest that Samsung is gearing up to introduce several design enhancements to its next clamshell foldable smartphone, including a larger cover display and various other improvements. In its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, users were treated to a 3.4-inch outer screen, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and accompanied by 8GB of RAM, alongside a 3,700mAh battery.

Renowned tipster Anthony, also known as @TheGalox on X (formerly Twitter), has provided insights into the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to the tipster, the device is expected to be powered by a modified version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, specifically tailored for Galaxy devices—an iteration also featured in the flagship Galaxy S24 series.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to boast a 3.9-inch outer screen and a 6.7-inch inner display, representing significant upgrades over its predecessor. The larger cover screen is anticipated to receive Gorilla Glass Armor coating for added durability, while the device is also expected to feature an improved hinge mechanism and internal layout, along with a more robust cooling system to enhance performance.

Photography enthusiasts will likely appreciate the rumored inclusion of a dual rear camera setup on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. As per the tipster, the handset will run on a tweaked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC — Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy. The flagship Galaxy S24 series also features the same Galaxy-branded version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to pack a 3.9-inch outer screen and a 6.7-inch inner display. The cover screen would be an upgrade over the 3.4-inch outer display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
