Canon EOS R6 Mark III With 32.5MP Sensor and 8K Video Support Debuts in India

Canon has officially launched the EOS R6 Mark III mirrorless camera in India, marking the latest addition to its full-frame lineup. Designed for both professional photographers and videographers, the camera features a 32.5-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus system. It supports up to 7K video recording and includes a DIGIC X image processor, promising fast performance and high-quality imaging in both stills and video. The EOS R6 Mark III also comes with dual card slots and is powered by the reliable LP-E6P battery.

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III was launched alongside the RF 45mm F1.2 STM lens, giving users a versatile option for portrait and low-light photography. The camera is compatible with Canon’s extensive RF lens ecosystem, allowing photographers and videographers to leverage advanced optics and creative flexibility. Its advanced autofocus system ensures precise tracking of moving subjects, making it suitable for sports, wildlife, and event photography.

In terms of pricing, the Canon EOS R6 Mark III body is available in India for Rs. 2,43,995. Bundled lens options, including the EOS R6 Mark III with the 24-105mm STM zoom lens and the 24-105mm USM lens, are priced at Rs. 2,71,995 and Rs. 3,43,995, respectively. The RF 45mm F1.2 STM lens alone is priced at Rs. 40,495, giving enthusiasts and professionals multiple options depending on their shooting needs.

For technical specifications, the EOS R6 Mark III offers an ISO range of 50–102,400, 12fps continuous shooting with a mechanical shutter, and up to 40fps with the electronic shutter. The electronic shutter also enables a maximum shutter speed of 1/64,000 seconds, allowing for the capture of extremely fast action without motion blur. With these features, Canon positions the R6 Mark III as a versatile tool for both creative photography and professional videography.
