Motorola Edge 60 Stylus Debuts in India With Triple Cameras and Integrated Stylus Support

Motorola has officially launched the Edge 60 Stylus in India, expanding its Edge series lineup. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and features a built-in stylus, making it the first device in its segment to offer this functionality. Alongside the stylus integration, the phone also boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. It arrives with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, MIL-STD-810H durability certification, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, further enhancing its rugged profile. The Edge 60 Stylus joins the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, which was introduced earlier this month in the Indian market.

The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is priced at Rs. 22,999 for the lone 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It will be available in two Pantone colour options — Gibraltar Sea and Surf the Web. Buyers can purchase the device starting April 23 at 12pm IST via Flipkart, Motorola India’s official website, and selected retail outlets. To sweeten the deal, Flipkart is offering an additional Rs. 1,000 exchange bonus, effectively reducing the handset’s price to Rs. 21,999. Additionally, customers using Axis Bank and IDFC credit cards can avail themselves of an instant Rs. 1,000 discount, while Reliance Jio customers stand to benefit from up to Rs. 2,000 cashback and Rs. 8,000 worth of shopping, travel, and booking offers.

On the display front, the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is fitted with a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels) 2.5D pOLED screen. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and boasts a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The screen also comes with SGS Low Blue Light and Motion Blur Reduction certifications to ensure eye comfort during extended usage. With Aqua Touch technology, the display remains responsive even when wet, enhancing its usability in diverse conditions.

In terms of optics, the smartphone features a versatile triple rear camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor, accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a dedicated 3-in-1 light sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera is housed in a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout. Running Android 15-based Hello UI, the Edge 60 Stylus promises two major Android updates and three years of security patches. With support for up to 1TB expandable storage via microSD card, and strong 5G connectivity options, Motorola’s latest offering aims to deliver a premium yet affordable smartphone experience.

Motorola Edge 60 Stylus in Development? Leaked Render Reveals Design

Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its Edge 60 series, which is expected to succeed the Edge 50 lineup. While the previous generation included models like the Edge 50, Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, and Edge 50 Ultra, the upcoming lineup may introduce a new variant featuring an inbuilt stylus. Recently leaked renders, purportedly of the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus, suggest that the device will include a dedicated storage slot for the stylus at the bottom edge. Alongside the design leak, pricing details for the handset have also surfaced online.

According to tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) on X, the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus will likely be part of the Edge 60 lineup. The leaked render showcases the stylus slot positioned at the bottom edge of the device, alongside a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A report from IT Home further claims that the smartphone could be priced at approximately EUR 500 (roughly Rs. 43,600). Meanwhile, the base model of the Edge 60 series is expected to start at EUR 380 (roughly Rs. 36,000) for an 8GB + 256GB storage variant, with color options reportedly including Green and Sea Blue.

Apart from the Edge 60 Stylus, Motorola is also expected to launch the Edge 60 Fusion, which could be priced at EUR 350 (roughly Rs. 33,100) for the same RAM and storage configuration. This variant may be available in Blue and Grey colorways. Additionally, the Edge 60 Pro model is rumored to have a price tag of EUR 600 (roughly Rs. 56,800) and could be offered in Blue, Green, and a new Grape (Purple) shade. These pricing details indicate that Motorola is targeting a range of users, from budget-conscious buyers to those seeking premium features.

With the potential introduction of a stylus-equipped variant, the Motorola Edge 60 series could appeal to professionals and creative users who prefer a more precise input method. If these leaks hold true, the Edge 60 Stylus may compete with other stylus-supported devices like the Samsung Galaxy S series Ultra models. As anticipation builds, more details about the lineup, including specifications and launch dates, are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
