OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V Debut With Massive 9,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon Processors
OnePlus has expanded its smartphone portfolio in China with the launch of the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V. Both models arrive in multiple colour options and are equipped with massive 9,000mAh batteries, positioning them among the largest-capacity smartphones currently available. The two devices cater to different performance segments, with the Turbo 6 powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and the Turbo 6V featuring the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC.
In terms of durability and memory, both smartphones offer flagship-grade features. They come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance and support up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. These specifications suggest a strong focus on long-term reliability and heavy usage, alongside extended battery life.
Pricing for the OnePlus Turbo 6 starts at CNY 2,099 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with higher configurations priced up to CNY 2,899 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB model. The phone is available in Light Chaser Silver, Lone Black, and Wild Green colour options. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Turbo 6V is priced more affordably, beginning at CNY 1,699 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, and going up to CNY 2,199 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB variant. It is offered in Fearless Blue, Lone Black, and Nova White finishes.
The OnePlus Turbo 6 features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ flexible AMOLED display with a refresh rate that dynamically switches between 60Hz and 165Hz, along with high brightness and wide colour gamut support. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor, complemented by a 16-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and USB Type-C, while an in-display fingerprint sensor handles authentication.
The OnePlus Turbo 6V shares much of the same display, software, and design foundation but is powered by a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It also sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Like its higher-end sibling, the Turbo 6V packs a 9,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, making both models well-suited for users prioritizing long battery life and fast top-ups.
