Oppo Reno 16 Series Debuts in India With 50MP Cameras and Premium Features
Oppo has expanded its Reno smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Reno 16 and Reno 16c. The new devices arrive just weeks after the Reno 16 debuted in China and are available in three colour options. While the Reno 16 is powered by a Snapdragon 7-series processor, the Reno 16c features a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset, offering different performance options for users.
Battery capacity is one of the key highlights of the new lineup. The Oppo Reno 16 houses a 6,700mAh battery, matching its Chinese counterpart, whereas the Reno 16c packs an even larger 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. Both smartphones are designed to deliver extended battery life while maintaining fast recharge capabilities.
In India, the Oppo Reno 16 starts at Rs. 61,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 67,999. The Reno 16c, meanwhile, is available at Rs. 46,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version, with the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants priced at Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 55,999, respectively. Buyers can also avail of a 10 percent instant cashback using eligible SBI, HDFC Bank, and select other credit cards.
The Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c will go on sale in India from July 9 through Amazon, Flipkart, and the Oppo India online store. Both smartphones run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and feature AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 16 sports a 6.32-inch panel with up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, while the Reno 16c offers a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display that reaches up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness.
