Realme is reportedly working on the Realme 16 5G, which is expected to succeed the Realme 15 5G launched in July 2025. Although the company has not made any official announcements regarding the device, a recent retailer listing has offered an early look at its specifications. The appearance of the handset on a retail platform suggests that its launch in select markets could be approaching.

According to the listing, the Realme 16 5G is expected to feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution. The panel is said to support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and deliver an impressive peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. For durability, the screen is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ shield glass, designed to guard against scratches and accidental drops.

The smartphone is also tipped to come with extensive protection against dust and water. As per the retailer details, the Realme 16 5G carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, indicating resistance to high-pressure water jets and harsh environmental conditions. This level of protection is uncommon in its segment and could be a notable highlight of the device.

In terms of cameras, the Realme 16 5G is listed with a dual rear setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary lens. On the front, the handset is said to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera for photography and video calls. The listing also suggests support for 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, rounding out a camera setup focused on everyday use.
