Samsung Galaxy Jump 5 Debuts With Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC and 5,000mAh Battery
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Jump 5 in South Korea as the newest addition to its carrier-exclusive smartphone lineup. The device was developed in collaboration with KT Corporation and arrives as a regional offering, although it shares the same design, hardware, and features as the recently launched Galaxy A27 5G available in India and other global markets.
The Galaxy Jump 5 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C port. Samsung is offering the handset in three colour options—Black, Green, and Pink—mirroring the finishes available on the Galaxy A27 5G, making the two smartphones nearly identical in appearance.
In South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Jump 5 carries a price tag of KRW 545,600 (approximately Rs. 34,000). While Samsung has not yet disclosed the available RAM and storage variants, the handset is priced higher than the Galaxy A27 5G, which debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 28,999.
The Galaxy Jump 5 is scheduled to go on sale in South Korea starting July 3 through the KT online store. Although it is marketed under a different name for the Korean market, the smartphone essentially offers the same user experience as the Galaxy A27 5G, with the branding tailored specifically for KT customers.
