Vivo V50e Debuts With 50MP Sony IMX882 Camera
Vivo V50e Set to Launch in India With Premium Features and Sleek Design
Vivo is gearing up to unveil the Vivo V50e in India on April 10 at 12pm IST. Ahead of its launch, the company has revealed several key details, including its design, color variants, and camera specifications. The V50e will be available in Pearl White and Sapphire Blue and is expected to hit the shelves via Flipkart and Vivo’s official online store. It is being positioned as a stylish yet performance-driven device, set to succeed the Vivo V40e and complement the already-released Vivo V50, which debuted in India earlier this year.
One of the standout features of the Vivo V50e is its camera setup. The handset will sport a 50-megapixel front camera, capable of capturing high-quality selfies and supporting 4K video recording. The rear camera system is also expected to offer advanced imaging capabilities. The device will feature a quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and an ultra-slim profile measuring just 7.3mm thick. In terms of durability, the phone will boast IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the software and AI front, the V50e will come equipped with several intelligent features designed to enhance user experience. These include tools like AI Image Expander, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, and AI Transcript Assist, making it a versatile companion for productivity and creativity alike. The phone’s sleek design paired with smart features suggests Vivo is aiming to strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Leaks hint that the Vivo V50e will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and may come with a 5,600mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging. It’s expected to feature a 6.77-inch 1.5K display and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone will likely run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. With a predicted price tag between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000, the V50e could be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment.
