According to industry insiders, the upcoming lineup could include the standard Vivo V70 and the more premium Vivo V70 Elite, while some reports also hint at a possible Vivo V70 FE joining the family. Interest around the series has grown after the V70 Elite recently appeared on India’s BIS certification database, signaling an imminent launch.

As per a report citing tipster Yogesh Brar, the Vivo V70 series is expected to launch in mid-February and compete in the premium mid-range segment. The smartphones are said to be priced below Rs. 55,000 in India. In terms of colour options, the Vivo V70 could arrive in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the V70 Elite may offer Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black finishes. The Vivo branding appears vertically aligned on the lower-left of the back panel, while the power and volume buttons are positioned on the right edge. On the specifications front, both models are tipped to feature a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo V70 Elite could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard Vivo V70 may run on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Vivo V70 appears on FCC database, listing reveals RAM, storage and connectivity details

Vivo appears to be moving closer to launching its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V70, which is expected to replace the Vivo V60. The handset has already surfaced on several certification platforms, indicating that preparations for a wider release are underway. Most recently, the device was reportedly approved by a telecom authority in Singapore, further strengthening speculation about an imminent global debut.

According to a report by The Tech Outlook, a Vivo smartphone carrying the model number V2538 has been listed on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) website. Although the certification does not directly mention the device’s marketing name, the model number is believed to correspond to the Vivo V70. The listing confirms support for 5G connectivity, along with NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

The IMDA appearance follows an earlier sighting of the same handset on the US FCC certification database. That listing hinted at similar connectivity features, including Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, and NFC, suggesting that Vivo is preparing the phone for multiple international markets. The device is also expected to ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

In terms of hardware, the Vivo V70 is tipped to use the same Snapdragon 7 series chipset found in its predecessor. The smartphone is also expected to be available in at least one high-end configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As Vivo has yet to make an official announcement, these details remain unconfirmed and should be treated cautiously.
