Vivo V30 Price Slashed in India Ahead of Vivo V40 Series Launch

Vivo V30 Launched in India in  This Year

The Vivo V30, which made its debut in India in March this year alongside the Vivo V30 Pro, is now seeing a price reduction ahead of the launch of its successor, the Vivo V40 series. The V30 has been a popular choice due to its robust specifications, including the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a substantial 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging. Additionally, the device features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and operates on Android 14 with FuntouchOS 14, delivering a well-rounded performance.

In anticipation of the new Vivo V40 series, which is set to launch in India on August 7, Vivo has announced a significant price drop for the V30. The revised pricing starts at Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options are now available for Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 35,999, respectively. These new prices represent a reduction from the initial launch prices, which were Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs. 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs. 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

The updated pricing is already in effect and can be found on various platforms, including Flipkart, the Vivo India website, and select offline retail stores. To make the deal even more attractive, Vivo is offering a flat 10 percent instant cashback with select partner banks. Additionally, customers purchasing the 8GB + 128GB variant can take advantage of an 8-month no-cost EMI option. Buyers will also receive added benefits like the Vivo V-Shield Protection Plan, enhancing the overall value of the purchase.

The Vivo V30 continues to be available in the same three color options as its initial launch: Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green. These colorways have been well-received and provide users with a range of stylish choices to suit their preferences.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo V30 boasts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (2,800 x 1,260 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, ensuring robust performance for various applications and multitasking. The device’s software experience is enhanced by the latest Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14, which adds additional features and customization options.

With the Vivo V40 series on the horizon, the price cut for the Vivo V30 presents a compelling opportunity for buyers looking for a high-performance smartphone at a reduced price. The strategic price adjustment reflects Vivo’s approach to clearing inventory and generating interest in the upcoming models.
