The Funtouch OS 15 Open Beta program for iQOO Neo 9 Pro users in India has officially begun, as announced by the company on Monday. This rollout marks an exciting step for iQOO, as it is one of the first OEMs to bring Android 15 to its devices. The update was initially introduced in September, alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and X100 series, positioning iQOO and Vivo at the forefront of the latest Android innovations. With the Funtouch OS 15 Open Beta, users can expect a host of new features, including enhanced animations, priority scheduling algorithms, and advanced AI-powered functionalities.
The update, identified with the build number PD2338F_EX_A_15.1.6.7.W30, is approximately 2.73GB in size. Currently, the beta is being rolled out to a limited number of users, with a broader release expected in the near future. iQOO has assured users that the update will not delete or alter any data and will not consume additional system space, ensuring a smooth transition to the new version. This beta release offers a chance for users to experience the new features and improvements before they are made widely available.
One of the standout features of Funtouch OS 15 is the integration of Google’s Circle to Search, an AI-powered visual lookup tool. This feature allows users to search for an object on the web by simply highlighting an area on the screen. Whether it’s scribbling, circling, or drawing over the image, users can easily extract information about objects in photos or screenshots. This addition enhances the phone’s utility, making it even more versatile for everyday use.
In addition to the visual search tool, the update brings a variety of performance and aesthetic improvements. These include smoother animations, more intuitive interface transitions, and a revamped priority scheduling algorithm that optimizes app performance and resource allocation. Overall, Funtouch OS 15 promises to deliver a more refined and intelligent user experience, leveraging AI to make the iQOO Neo 9 Pro even more powerful and user-friendly
