iQOO 15R Spotted on Bluetooth SIG Certification, Launch Appears Imminent
The upcoming iQOO 15R is believed to be a rebranded variant of the iQOO Z11 Turbo smartphone.

The iQOO 15 series may soon expand with the arrival of a new variant. After the launch of the iQOO 15 in November as the successor to the iQOO 13, a fresh listing has hinted that another model could be on the way. A previously unannounced iQOO smartphone has now surfaced online, revealing the name iQOO 15R. The device is expected to slot below the flagship iQOO 15 and could target the upper mid-range segment.
Much like the naming strategy seen with some OnePlus devices, the iQOO 15R is believed to be a more affordable alternative within the lineup. Early reports suggest that the handset may debut as a rebranded version of the upcoming iQOO Z11 Turbo, which is yet to be officially unveiled. This approach would allow the company to offer similar hardware under a different branding for select markets.
Clues about the handset’s launch timeline come from a recent appearance on the Bluetooth SIG certification database. The listing mentions an iQOO smartphone carrying the model number I2508 and clearly identifies it as the iQOO 15R. Such certifications are typically completed shortly before a product’s official announcement, hinting that the device could launch sooner rather than later.
As with most Bluetooth SIG listings, the document does not disclose any key hardware specifications or design details. However, it marks the first confirmed reference to the iQOO 15R name. Notably, the same model number had earlier appeared on the IMEI database, further strengthening expectations that the phone is in advanced stages of preparation ahead of its debut.
