Sneak Peek into the Future: Realme 12 Pro 5G Series Unveils Striking Design, Advanced Camera Features, and Vibrant Color Options Before Launch

Anticipation is building as Realme gears up to launch the Realme 12 Pro 5G series in India later this month, featuring the Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro+ models. Positioned as successors to the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+, the series has already generated buzz with sneak peeks into its design, camera features, and collaboration with luxury watchmaker Ollivier Saveo. Leak images hint at an intriguing design inspired by the elegance of Rolex luxury watches, a motif that has been teased in various posts.

One such post on X sheds light on the collaboration with Ollivier Saveo, showcasing a Realme 12 Pro model in a captivating blue color reminiscent of Rolex’s iconic blue dial. The official reveal of the Realme 12 Pro design showcases a Submarine Blue color option, with a centered circular camera module and a golden dial, exuding sophistication. A vertical golden line further enhances the aesthetics, while the power button and volume rocker on the right edge add a touch of elegance in golden hues.

Realme continues to build excitement by officially confirming key camera details. The Realme 12 Pro series will house a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 24mm focal length. The camera system also boasts an OV64B sensor with a periscope shooter, supporting up to an impressive 120x digital zoom. Additionally, the series introduces a 3x Portrait Mode with a 71mm focal length, promising versatile and high-quality photography capabilities. As the launch date approaches, Realme enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing a perfect blend of style and innovation with the Realme 12 Pro 5G series.

The base Realme 12 Pro has previously been tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The phones are expected to be equipped with 50-megapixel triple rear camera units and carry 5,000mAh batteries each. The Realme 12 Pro+ is likely to come with a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B sensor with a 3x periscope telephoto lens.

The landing page of the upcoming Realme 12 Pro series on the official website teases the January launch of the lineup. It does not confirm a date but tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) suggested that the phones may debut in India on January 31 at 12pm IST. He added that the Realme 12 Pro model is expected to be offered in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colourways, while the Realme 12 Pro+ could come in an additional Explorer Red shade. Both models are expected to launch in configurations of 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB and the base model is also tipped to be offered in a 12GB + 256GB option.
